Manitoba Quality Awards (MQA) were established in 1993 to promote and recognize quality achievements in Manufacturing, Service, Education, Government and Health Care. It includes three levels of Award: Bronze (for commitment to quality), Silver (for Achievement) and Gold (for excellence). Companies which receive awards have completed the application process which includes submission of an achievement report and a comprehensive site visit. The process covers assessing the company's achievement in areas such as Leadership, Customer Focus, Planning Activities for Improvement, People Focus, Process Optimization, Supplier Focus and Organizational Performance. Organizations that have completed the assessment process have displayed their commitment and intentions to promote excellence within their organizations. The Manitoba Quality Network (QNET) with over 500 company members, which administers the Manitoba Quality Awards, is a non-profit community initiative that promotes and facilitates quality in Manitoba. |
